To make the bolts come out easier take a small jack and put a little bit of pressure on the spring it makes the bolt come out alot easier

Saw one of these last evening at Hancock MD the Fire Rescue had one on display. They were very polite answering questions they explained all the functions in detail. They have had it for 2 years now and no problems.

Just did this on a 98 Z71 5.7 vortec. Donut needed replacement and one of the studs broke an ear off the flange on the manifold with very little force on the wrench. Soaked the manifold bolts with PB Blaster for 2 days and loosened and tightend bolts out once they broke free. Couple were a little stubborn but a little more PB and just enough force to get them free and nothing else broke. No heat cold engine lots of patience worked for me.

@mossman381 if you put the race in the freezer they will almost drop in.

Running a dyno for 18 years now, I've had several guys in the 2000s do this mod to 4.3s and 350s and it literally makes no difference on a dyno. I've seen a 1.3 hp increase on a vortec 350 once but that was only one time. Just leave it alone. Not worth the time and effort to even mess with it.

Did this still have the stock manifolds and cats?

Do the DRLs go out at night or does the BCM just dim them? I'd love to see a night Video.

I noticed when you wired in the switchback driver module it's wired in backwards where it's flashing that fraction of second like that inwards instead of outwards I thought anyways I Love wireing in these switchback driver modules they make any vehicle look real Cool honestly

What did u do for compression, flat top 4 ring pistons are low 8 to 1 or big chamber heads lower compression. U use longer rods and push pistons up higher, u put a bigger cam u probably want 10/11 to 1 compression depending your cam.

What size are those star bits?

The elbow thats included is a 3/8 NPT, because Edelbrock pumps use a 3/8 line.

as a driveline builder, and shop owner, i'd have that joint out, and changed in about 10 min lol. i torch them out, and punch the caps through. the jar of the hammer/punch keeps the ears from bending as you said, if being used in a press.

Did you have to drain any gear fluid before replacing the seal? im about to do mine and that is the only thing im unsure of. not sure if ill get a release and what to replace it with yet.
